Stillpoint Literary Magazine was created by University of Georgia undergraduates circa 1967, as a forum for student writers and artists. Today, we feature the best in UGA’s undergraduate poetry, prose, creative non-fiction, and artwork in our annual publication and at readings throughout the year. The physical magazine is published near the end of spring semester, with submissions for that year’s magazine typically open until January. Our writers and artists have been featured in plain china, a nationwide anthology of top undergraduate writing and art. Additionally, past contributors have had their artwork displayed at Transmetropolitan in downtown Athens, GA. We believe that our magazine has increased its quality in content and design throughout the years, and we anticipate that expanding our web content will contribute to this progress.

Readers can keep up with us on Facebook and Twitter for updates on submissions, magazine release, and events. Information about getting involved and submitting your work can be found on this site, and web features will be added regularly.

We hope that you’ll check us out in print, on campus, and online.

Happy Reading!
